Our prayer for our children is the same as Paul's prayer for the Ephesians. "16 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted
and established
in love. 18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" Ephesians 3:16-19.
It is our goal that each of the children entrusted to our care be rooted and established in the Love of Christ and experience the Word of God in loving relationships throughout our ministries.
On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School for all ages. Here students connect with one another, their teachers, and the Word of God. We offer age appropriate content for our seeds, sprouts, saplings, deciduous, and evergreens. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. in the upstairs classrooms.
On Wednesday nights during the school year Salem Kids meets for a meal, music, games, and small groups centered around Biblical stories. The meal begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with instructional times from 6:30 - 7:30. Adult Bible Study is offered during this time as well in the Lounge.
Children's Choir meets Sunday mornings for practice during the school year at 9:30 before Sunday School Begins. The Children's Choir is led by Diane Walker and Suzi Wetzel and sings one Sunday each month during Sunday Morning Worship.
All of our children and youth leaders are required to have background checks and comply with our child protection policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
